Why you need an AI provider
ProductBet uses AI to process your signals, generate opportunities, create implementation plans, write marketing and sales content, and power the chat assistant. To use these features, you need to connect at least one AI provider.
Supported providers

You can configure one or both. If both are set up, you can choose which one to use as your default.
How to set up
Go to Settings > AI Providers, enter your API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, or both. If you have both, select your preferred provider. Your keys are encrypted and stored securely.
Getting an OpenAI API key
- Go to platform.openai.com
- Navigate to API Keys
- Create a new secret key
- Copy it and paste it into ProductBet
Getting an Anthropic API key
- Go to console.anthropic.com
- Navigate to API Keys
- Create a new key
- Copy it and paste it into ProductBet
Which provider should I choose?
- If you only want to set up one, OpenAI is the best choice because the Chat assistant currently requires an OpenAI key
- If you want the best quality for signal processing and implementation plans, you can use Anthropic (Claude) as your preferred provider and keep OpenAI connected for Chat
- Both providers produce high-quality results for most tasks
Removing a provider
You can remove an API key at any time from the AI Providers settings page. If you remove all providers, AI-powered features will be disabled until you add a new key.
Security
Your API keys are encrypted before being stored. They are never displayed in the UI after being saved, only a confirmation that a key is configured.
