Use the AI assistant to query your analytics, codebase, and project management tools in natural language.

What is Chat?

Chat is ProductBet's AI assistant. It lets you ask questions about your product, analytics, codebase, and project management in natural language, and get answers drawn from your connected tools.

Instead of switching between Mixpanel, Amplitude, GitHub, and Linear to gather context, you ask Chat and it queries the right tools for you.

How to use Chat

Go to Chat in the sidebar, type your question and press Enter. The AI will use the right tools to find your answer.

You can start new conversations or continue existing threads. Each thread keeps its context, so follow-up questions work naturally.

What Chat can do

Chat's capabilities depend on which integrations you have connected:

Mixpanel (requires Mixpanel connection)

  • "What are our most popular events?"
  • "Show me daily active users for the last 30 days"
  • "How many users triggered the 'create_report' event this week?"

Amplitude (requires Amplitude connection)

  • "What does our onboarding funnel look like?"
  • "Show me retention for users who signed up last month"
  • "What experiments are currently running?"

GitHub (requires GitHub connection)

  • "How is authentication implemented?"
  • "What does the API endpoint for creating users look like?"
  • "Where is the billing logic?"

Linear (requires Linear connection)

  • "What issues are in the current sprint?"
  • "Show me all open bugs assigned to the team"
  • "What's the status of the onboarding redesign project?"

At the top of the chat, you'll see which tools are connected and available. If a tool isn't connected, Chat will let you know and point you to Settings > Integrations to set it up.

Requirements

  • An AI provider must be configured (OpenAI is required for Chat)
  • At least one of the supported integrations should be connected for Chat to be useful

Tips

  • Be specific with your questions. "How many users created a report last week?" works better than "Tell me about reports"
  • For analytics questions, start by asking what events are available, then query specific ones
  • Chat remembers context within a thread, so you can ask follow-up questions
  • If an integration isn't connected, Chat will tell you rather than guessing
